Von Arx diamond-drum concrete shavers / planers are the right type of equipment for removing resilient resin flooring material, renovation of industrial floors, coating or epoxy screed removal, aggregate exposure before polishing, lippage removal, safety grooving for antiskid floors in parkings or stables, curled joint repair, tolerance works. Principle of operation is simple but effective and utilises a rotating drum onto which a variety of different diamond blades are fitted on to lateral shafts. The diamond blades are separated by spacers; by selecting the ideal spacer and diamond blades, an even cutting or shaving action can be achieved, the rotating drum generates a 'sawing motion' of the diamond blades on the surface that is to be treated, causing a well determined cutting patern.
